Recent Gap in Updates
Hi, all :)
Wanted to say first of all, thanx so much for your patience and understanding during the recent long stretch without updates.
As I'm sure you all know, sometimes RL issues get a bit overwhelming, and lately that's been the case for me. I'm looking at several major life changes -- the loss of custody of my sister's kids who've lived with me for 3 years now (don't worry, this is a good and sought after thing, although emotionally painful), moving into a new apartment, getting a new vehicle, starting a new job, and getting more deeply involved in a relationship that is swiftly heading toward marriage -- and fanfic has taken a backseat of late.
But i have NOT abandoned my fics!! :) In fact, as my new job schedule is falling into place, I'm finding that i should have more writing time, not less, and be able to resume a regular writing and updating schedule.
I appreciate all of your patience in bearing with me during this stressful but promising time of my life. I'll be keeping you all posted as events develop, and over the next few weeks, you should see my fics begin to be posted on a regular basis again.

Anonymous Reviews - Turned Off
Hello Everyone,
Due to a problem with spammed reviews (nearly 300 of them) at another efiction site I maintain for JackOfSpikes, I had to remove the ability for anonymous reviews to be left. I've already gone through the problem with one site, and I see that it is something that can be exploited. I don't want to go through it with this site too.
I apologize for having to do this. Please understand that the time necessary to delete that much SPAM is pretty tiring. So, I don't want that problem to creep it's way to here too.
You can still leave reviews, but you will need to register with the site here. It's quick and easy, and you can select any User ID not already taken. So, the options are endless for you.
Please continue to support DreamsOfSpike's writing by registering and leaving your reviews. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes anyone.

NEW FIC!!!!
Hi, guys! :)
Just wanted to leave a note to let everybody know about an exciting new project I'm working on with my good friend Tamakin. It's a Spara fiction, most likely of epic length, entitled Akathisia....
it will be dark (of course :P) intense and emotional, and we're both very excited about it, and hope you will be, too.
For those of you not familiar with her work (and that's probably not many of you hehe) Tamakin is an incredibly talented artist, and she's put together several lovely manips/illustrations for this story already, with more in the works.

If you have Password Problems ....
If you ever have a problem with your password (i.e. it won't let you sign in no matter what you use that you thought you had), please email webmasterdbd at darktreasures dot net with the User ID and Password Problem in the subject of the email.
I will reset your password to a temporary one that I will give you in a return email. Please note that every temporary password will be different. I will also ask look to verify that your email address information matches what is listed for the account. So please email me from your registered email address.
You will then be able to sign in with the temporary password and change the password to whatever you wish instead.
This is not something that has happened very often (maybe once or twice). So, hopefully you won't have to worry about it. I'm just posting the instructions for it in case you have any problems.

P.S. If anyone has created more than one account because of a password problem in the past, please email me. We can delete any duplicate accounts and let you pick which one you want to be your account. If it was an account you couldn't get the password to work for, then we'll follow the steps above to get you reset.

New Categories Added
New categories have been added to the site so that DreamsofSpike or I can more quickly get her awards and nominations posted. She'd also like to recommend some stories or highlight her favorites. A separate category has been created for Awards, Nominations, and Story Recommendations.
The awards will be listed by story with the chapters being each particular award site and round listed. The nominations are listed a little differently. All of the nominations from a particular award site for a particular round are listed all at once with the code button needed to link back to that site.
I hope you enjoy the new features. I will be updating the skins (hopefully in the next week) to reflect the new links instead of just one Awards/Nominations page.
